- Ensure the Alliance is suitably resourced to deliver on the program of works
- Ensure processes are in place to demobilise projects and identify next opportunities for staff
- Ensure the People Team management plan is updated every six months (or as required) to ensure currency with the PAA and Alliance direction

- Represent the Allilance in dealings with employer groups, industry associations, government authorities and other relevant bodies as required
- Co-ordinate events and celebrations for key national and local days/weeks of significance in conjunction with the Internal Comms Team and other SMEs
- Co-ordinate diversity and inclusion programs for the Alliance
- Prepare budgets
- Manage and lead the People and ICI teams to ensure deliverables are met
- Develop processes for performance management of staff
- Understand the regulatory requirements to achieve the Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) target for the Alliance
- Maintain and review the project HR and Workforce plans and initiate appropriate action to ensure the requirements under the PAA are met and exceeded
- Strategy development for projects the Development phase to implement during the Delivery phase
- Manage and implement the social procurement strategy for the Alliance in accordance with the PAA requirements
- Maintain and review the Social Procurement plan and initiatives appropriate to ensure the requirements under the PAA are met and exceeded
- Facilitate cultural awareness and training relevant to achieving and culturally safe workplace environment and MPSG and social procurement deliverables to Alliance staff and subcontractors
- Keep up to date with industry best practice to drive high performance
- Review all processes and procedures to ensure a continuous mindset with the People and ICI teams to drive high performance
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Business Management, Law or Employee Relations
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience providing strategic leadership and senior level experience across relevant HR and industry, capability and inclusion disciplines
- Understanding of the Major Project Skills Guarantee and Local Content
- Leadership skills and the ability to create effective teams and build networks and relationships
- Knowledge of human resources in the Australian and International industry
- Ability to influence, negotiate, delegate and make decisions that result in the desired outcome

We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join us on a 12-month Maternity Leave cover role and support multiple projects across the North Western Program Alliance.
About the Role
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing compliance across the Alliance. You will lead a team to deliver the best quality projects in accordance with standards, legislation and Project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and monitor the Alliance QMS for compliance to the relevant legal, regulatory and project requirements, processes and all required QA/ QC surveillance documentation
- Implement quality management plans to meet project delivery and quality requirements
- Ensure Alliance policies, plans and procedures are implemented through a robust auditing schedule
- Track and monitor quality performance indicators and non-conformances
- Positively influence the quality culture and performance on the Alliance, engaging with Project teams, Stakeholders and Project owner to drive successful outcomes across the NWPA
- Review and audit management system for compliance to ensure accreditation to ISO standards, legislation and contractual requirements
- Develop and implement audit procedure ensuring compliance with Project requirements.
- Promote Quality, Governance and Compliance by participating in the development and continuous improvement of business processes
- Proactively lead a planning and controls culture based on best practice with a focus on risk management and mitigation
- Early identification and communication of risk and opportunities identified through performance and compliance auditing
- Provide support and guidance to Project teams on subcontractor requirements and obligations
- Implement project monitoring systems, particularly focusing on time, resources, quality and completions
- Effective people management, supporting and mentoring a team across multiple Projects to ensure timely execution of quality deliverables
- Lead Project teams in reporting, interpretation and analysis of project performance, forward planning and development of corrective actions to maximise project delivery outcomes
- Identify, develop and implement document control best practice to ensure data capture and integrity
To be successful in this key role, we are looking for;
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Business, Quality Management or Project Management OR significant experience in the construction industry.
- Lead auditor experience and relevant qualification
- More than 5 years' experience in a similar role or Project Management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills having successfully led and managed a team
- Experience in performance reporting, analysis and continuous improvement

Whilst this position will initially join the NWPA, this is a permanent role with KBR which opens a door to working on other iconic infrastructure projects nationally.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be included but are not limited to:
- Lead aspects of design/drafting within a team of modelers to deliver structural engineering services related to rail and infrastructure projects
- Work cross functionally with digital engineering team, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, civil and other designers and engineers in delivery of major projects
- Coach and train other designers and contribute to building a collaborative environment that encourages and supports high level growth and efficiency
What you will need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in drafting or engineering technology with experience in infrastructure projects working and ideally within a multi-disciplinary environment along with the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- A creative approach to thinking

KBR are the Principal Design partner on the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA). The Alliance comprises of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne, KBR, and John Holland.
NWPA was established in 2017 and has delivered on approximately $3B of transport infrastructure projects for The State and community. Based on our success, LXRP have recently awarded NWPA a 5-year extension to our partnership providing us a strong, clear pipeline of transport opportunities through Melbourne till 2027.
With the significant demand present within the Victoria transport sector, a move to KBR to work on NWPA is an exciting step in your career. Youâll be working on community shaping projects such as the Pakenham & Keon level crossing removal with some other diverse opportunities currently being developed and committed to NWPA.

The Opportunity
As part of the North Western Program Alliance we are looking for enthusiastic and delivery focused individuals to help deliver the project and keep Victoria moving. During this exciting growth period we have an opportunity for a Road Designer to join our team. Our work on the alliance shows a visionary approach to re-thinking the design of heavy rail infrastructure
Whilst this position will initially join the NWPA, this is a permanent role with KBR which opens a door to working on other iconic infrastructure projects nationally.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be included but are not limited to:
- Design/drafting using Open Roads within a team of modelers to deliver road engineering services related to rail and other infrastructure projects
- Work closely with other disciplines including digital engineering, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and civil in delivery of major projects
- Contribute to building a collaborative environment that encourages and supports diversity, growth and efficiency
What you will need to succeed Â
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in drafting or engineering technology with experience in infrastructure projects working and ideally within a multi-disciplinary environment along with the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- A creative approach to thinking
- Design detail focusÂ
- A demonstrated appreciation for Engineering solutions
- A background in project coordination and stakeholder engagementÂ
