The Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 50 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2022. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. To continue this exciting work, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workplace Innovation Training Fund Project Manager to join the dynamic Industry Capability and Inclusion team.
Workplace Innovation Training Fund (WTIF) Project Manager

- Salary range of $115,136 - $154,076 plus superannuation
- One full time, fixed term (for up to 18 months ) opportunity
Looking for a great opportunity to play an active role in building capability in the Rail Industry from within the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA), one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.
Reporting directly to the Director, Industry Capability and Inclusion, you will be responsible for managing the design and delivery of industry-wide strategic projects as part of the Rail Industry Capability Program.
In this role, you will be managing the development of rail industry specific qualifications and training programs identified by the industry, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, in accordance with scope of works, and in line with Government and WTIF policies, procedures and contractual requirements.
This role will provide you the opportunity to manage the whole project lifecycle, including: project design; project planning; managing budget; status reporting; industry wide research and analysis; informing and liaising with stakeholders.
Key to your application, you will need high level current technical expertise in VET Training frameworks, training methodologies and practical expertise in working under VRQA/ASQA policies, standards and procedures.
