The West Gate Tunnel Project, Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (WGTP MTIA) is responsible for the management of the WGTP on behalf of the Victorian Government. The WGTP will directly link the West Gate Freeway to the Port, CityLink and the city via twin tunnels under Yarraville, a new crossing of the Maribyrnong River and an elevated road above Footscray Road. It will provide a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and reduce travel time, improve freight access to the Port of Melbourne and remove thousands of trucks from residential roads. 6,000 jobs will be created, and the project will deliver an approximate $11 billion boost to Victoria's economy. Public Private Partnership contracts to build and operate the project were signed in December 2017.

The West Gate Tunnel Project, Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (WGTP MTIA) has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Environment Advisor to join the Planning and Property team on the West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP).

The Senior Technical Environment Advisor is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and leadership that will assist in the management of legislative compliance, mitigation planning and environmental performance.

This position will be responsible for the provision of specialist technical environmental advice, thought leadership and collaboration in the delivery of a wide array of matters, including environmental requirements, duties and compliance. You will be able to lead the resolution of complex environmental issues, interpret environmental monitoring data and provide strategic advice and clarification on legislative requirements and industry best practice to senior management, project teams and other stakeholders.

A key requirement of this position is the implementation and delivery of the State's general environmental duties and contractual obligations.

Rail Projects Victoria, Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (RPV), is the Victorian Government body responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, Melbourne Airport Rail, and the Western Rail Plan including fast rail between key regional cities and Melbourne. RPV, MTIA is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning and development of the project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder engagement, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning. About the opportunity

 RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Network Planning Analyst, to work within Rail Operations Planning team to support the Department of Transport and MTIA in the development of operational plans and strategies. These plans and strategies will enable network and project requirements to be developed, which provide direction and clarity for project development and design. The Network Planning Analyst will work across the project lifecycle, from planning and development, through to implementation and benefits realisation. Working across the Transport organisations, the ability to build, maintain and influence working relationships across a range of stakeholders is essential. The role calls for a creative thinker, with attention to detail and the ability to think strategically. Previous experience of developing transport network plans, timetables or rosters is highly desirable.

Part of the WGTP Digital team and reporting to the Manager (Digital), the Graphic Design and Digital Coordinator will develop and produce highly engaging video content and graphic design collateral that effectively communicates the key messages of West Gate Tunnel Project throughout the life of the project.

The role will be responsible for the in-house finished production of videos and graphic assets for WGTP social and digital media channels and collaborate closely with the communications team on creative content development to ensure the end product is visually engaging and reflective of the WGTP brand.

As part of a dynamic and results-driven team you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely Drawing Management System (DMS) services to internal and external stakeholders, including government organisations, rail operators, and contractors. Your focus will be on the quality and validity of As Built drawings.

With a strong eye for quality and accuracy, you will bring sound computer skills, including experience with Drawing Management Systems (DMS), CAD packages, GIS systems and high level of alpha and numeric data entry skills. You will also bring proven experience with asset data, As Built drawing registers and transmittal systems.

LEVEL CROSSING REMOVAL PROJECT

As part of a dynamic and results-driven team the Junior Graphic Designer will get plenty of exposure to a variety of design work and will be responsible for assisting the Art Directors and Senior Designers in the development of innovative and creative graphic design solutions. The position will also be responsible for working closely with the project teams to deliver best fit design solutions for LXRP.

The North East Link Project will deliver the missing link in Melbourne's road network that will finally complete the Metropolitan Ring Road by connecting the M80 to the Eastern Freeway to improve outer north-south links for road freight movement and improve travel time and reliability.

About the opportunity

As the iconic, transformative infrastructure project for Victoria, the North East Link Project (NELP) holds its ethical and compliance obligations to the highest standard, thus creating an opportunity for a Senior Analyst, to passionately undertake the critical aspects of the organisation's assurance and compliance function.

Supporting the Manager, Audit and Compliance, the role's core components include contributing to the development, update and delivery of NELP's in-house audit and assurance program, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to support compliance activities and reinforce the organisation's compliance culture and monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of NELP's compliance process.

To enhance understanding of, promote and reinforce the compliance culture throughout the business and deliver the in-house audit and assurance program, the role will see you initiate and maintain conversations with a range of internal, external stakeholders and industry experts and call on a well demonstrated ability to think critically, effectively communicate and collaborate to identify and overcome barriers, gather information and be an adaptable, solutions oriented problem solver.

Technically, the role requires;

• extensive experience in an internal audit, assurance, or compliance management role, ideally from within a highly legislated, complex or Government setting,
• proven internal auditing skills including knowledge in developing and delivering in-housel audit and assurance program, and
• demonstrable experience in implementing risk-based compliance monitoring systems/processes and managing non-compliance incidences.

Reporting to the MTIA General Counsel, the Commercial and Legal Specialist will work within the Office of the Director-General to provide advice and guidance in relation to a broad range of commercial, legal and related issues in relation to the Major Transport Infrastructure Program.
