The North East Link Project will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and south-east.
About the opportunity
As the North East Link Project activities start taking shape, an opportunity for an experienced Stakeholder Relations and Communications Advisor has become available to enable greater connection between our project and our communities. Responsible for providing advice, support, information and recommendations throughout local businesses, schools, community groups and members, this role will act proactively to facilitate high quality, engaging and relevant stakeholder and community interactions.
A proven background in public facing stakeholder engagement, highly refined ability to convey messages and complex concepts, anticipate, address and source viable solutions and provide strategic stakeholder recommendation to senior management, will see you succeed in this position.
Additionally, you will;
Possess a natural flair for building relationships, communicating and engaging with others,
Be well demonstrated in negotiating positive, mutually beneficial outcomes and facilitating multiple communication avenues, and;
Be enthusiastic, confident and transparent in building partnerships with stakeholders in complex, public environments.
