The Opportunity

KBR, as part of the North Western Program Alliance has been awarded a further work packages that will remove railroad level crossings across Melbourne by raising the rail line over the road.

The NWPA comprises of the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne, KBR and John Holland Group.

As a Project Manager will contribute significantly to our delivery team and you will play a key role for our transport business. You will be responsible for all phases of project planning and execution in the design space. This includes developing scopes of works, procuring sub-design consultants, overseeing safety in design and risk assessments, managing schedules, reports, resources, and design budgets. You will encourage innovation and continuous improvement amongst the project team.

In addition, you will have close interaction with design discipline leaders, delivery partners, and a variety of internally & external stakeholders.

The project delivery team at KBR acts a matrix system to support projects across a variety of disciplines. You will be engaged in your work and experience variety of opportunities across multiple projects. You will be your own leader joining a group of passionate and experienced professionals who have strong technical backgrounds and driven to deliver.

Who are you?

You are an experienced project manager who has a demonstrated background on local transport and infrastructure projects. You are a strong communicator, highly organised, results drive , passionate about safety and can successfully manage change. You will have;

  • An accredited undergraduate degree in Engineering,
  • 10 - 15 years of project and design management experience for multidisciplinary complex projects within the transport sector,
  • Recognised credentials in project management and engineering, e.g. PMP, CPEng,
  • Experience managing complex budgets,
  • And excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of key stakeholder’s
