About The Project

McConnell Dowell is the constructor within the Western Program Alliance (WPA) which forms part of the Victorian State government’s ambitious level crossing removal program. The Alliance brings together the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), and Arup and Mott MacDonald as design partners.

WPA was formed in 2017 and following the successful completion of several major projects, is now focused on delivering the level crossing removals at Werribee (Werribee Street & Cherry Street), Hoppers Crossing (Old Geelong Road) and Cranbourne (the Cranbourne Line Upgrade), as well as developing future works projects.

Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications from highly skilled and organised Management Systems and Compliance Manager. The primary focus of this role is to establish and manage the implementation of systems and processes that support the effective delivery and completion of a Works Package.

As the Management Systems and Compliance Manager, you will be accountable for:

  • Overviewing the preparation and assist in compilation of management system reviews and the minutes and action plans
  • Preparing, submitting and maintaining the management system and reviewing and updating the management plans and associated reporting requirements and ensure deliverables are met
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining a management system /audit and governance framework ensuring the correct review and approval of management system documents and their maintenance and availability for users.
  • Reviewing the continual suitability of quality and completions process and practices across all functional areas.
  • Ensuring control measures, systems and monitoring process in place for completions and audit actions and activities

The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Ability to establish, implement and maintain the alliance management system, and provide support and training in its use to promote understanding.
  • Ability to communicate with all members of the project to ensure achievement of project quality and systems objectives and value contribution.
  • Ability to communicate with all members of the project the process and monitoring of achievement of project completions requirements
  • Analytical skills for reviewing management system/audit program/submission/reporting/presentation deliverables and providing feedback on adequacy and suitability.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage preparation of system/submission/reporting and deliverables which are presented on time and to a professional standard
  • Coordination skills and ability to influence team participation while promoting ownership and responsibilities.
