The North East Link Project (NELP) will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and south-east.

About the Opportunity

Be part of a transformative transport infrastructure project for Victoria, with an exciting role in the North East Link Project's Communications and Stakeholder Relations team.

The Senior Media and Communications Advisor will provide high quality media strategies, materials and advice to support the smooth delivery of North East Link. Reporting to the Manager, Media, this position is a key part of a vibrant, creative and growing team. This position contributes to the day to day management of media requests, researches and writes media releases that have cut-through with media, liaises with technical teams and government stakeholders to identify media issues and opportunities in line with NELP's media strategy.

This position calls for an ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment, with a track record of applying sound judgement in a complex and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong news sense, excellent attention to detail, a passion and commitment to the industry, and have a proven record of delivering exceptional, creative media and strategies in a complex environment.
