As a key member of the wider Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA), Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) delivers major road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Established in July 2018, MRPV is growing rapidly and we are looking for passionate people like you to join us.

We currently have vacancies for Project Directors to lead our delivery teams. This is your chance to help shape the organisation and contribute to the great work in building this vital infrastructure for the Victorian community.

About the role

As the Project Director you will lead on the development and construction of major road infrastructure across our program of works. The role requires strong leadership to support and provide strategic direction to a multi-disciplinary team, including technical experts, contractors and project team members to deliver on project excellence.

1 x Mordialloc – based in Dingley Village, travel required

1 x Monash Freeway – based in Hallam, travel required

1 x Drysdale Bypass/Barwon Heads Duplication – based in Waurn Ponds, travel required

About you

You will be a proven leader with significant achievement in the delivery of projects across different delivery models and with substantial commercial responsibility. Dealing with multiple stakeholders with competing needs, you have highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills, allowing you to navigate through complex and sensitive negotiations. As a people leader you have the intuition when to guide and empower for a high achieving and high performing team.
