About the role: As an experienced Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that risk management and assurance frameworks are maintained and improved for auditing, quality and reporting purposes, including facilitation of coordination / lead workshops, meetings, liaison with key staff and project partners. This position will involve concentrated risk expertise within a projects environment, including extensive risk management knowledge across both safety and technical aspects. Key Responsibilities include;

  • Produce and maintain project risk documentation including reports for stakeholders, both technical and safety risk
  • Risk identification and monitoring to support project managers with decision making
  • Monitor project risks through reviews and stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate / lead and participate in and support MTMs business process’
  • Ensure that risk actions are recorded, assigned, managed and closed out
  • Support project managers with compliance to policies, procedures and legislative requirements whilst providing guidance on ‘SFAIRP’
About your experience:

You will have extensive experience in Risk Management, with a thorough understanding of safety legislation, ideally within rail infrastructure. Possessing sound knowledge of the relevant acts, regulations and standards that are applicable to projects, and will also have an ability to achieve pre-determined standards of quality to the international ISO 9001;
ISO 31000 standards with relevant Qualifications in Risk, and or Engineering will be essential.
