The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. To continue this exciting work, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the dynamic North East Program Alliance.

Senior Project Engineer

  • Salary range of $96,942 - $117,293 plus superannuation
  • One full time, fixed term VPS 5 opportunity for up to 3 years
  • Richmond Location

An exceptional opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Project Engineerto join the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of elements of major, complex road and rail infrastructure projects as well as building effective stakeholder relationships. The position will also be responsible for driving a safety-first culture and mitigating issues and project risks promptly.

Key to your application will be your high-level problem-solving skills along with the ability to communicate technical issues to a wide range of stakeholders. Your ability to negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders from multi-discipline backgroundswill also ensure your success in this critical role.
