The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Survey/Digital Manager to join our North Eastern Program Alliance (NEPA) - Roads team. The Alliance is a four+ year program focused specifically on road based solutions under the Level Crossings Removal Project. Delivered with minimal disruption to the rail network, the Alliance offers an enviable work life balance, a great culture and the opportunity to take the next step in your career - taking the survey management responsibility for a level crossing removal.
We are looking for a leader who will support and motivate our teams – ensuring the focus remains on safety, quality, cost and schedule in the planning and execution of the work. Core responsibilities will include:

Coordinate and structure staffing requirements
Develop and implement site processes and structure
Coordinate effective implementation and maintenance of the Survey Management Plan
Ensure the accuracy of survey data across the project
Stakeholder management
Ensure equipment is calibrated and serviced to project requirements
Update records and registers
Ensure management and modelling of 12D projects, and deliver timely and accurate conformance reports.

About You
To be successful in this position you will demonstrate the following:

Previous Survey Management experience, ideally within the Civil infrastructure environment
Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering or related fields
Well-developed understanding of principles, practices and procedures of construction surveying
Proven and effective communicator with the ability to positively influence and motivate team members, including subcontracted Survey teams
Knowledge of 12D and AutoCad, and GPS
